An entirely factual account of our days in Thailand.

Nice enough flight. Ordinary queuing, etc. at either end, but fastest customs check ever at Suvarnabhumi airport. None. There was a sign that said ‘Customs’, but no staff, no stopping, just an open door and then freedom.
Arrived Bangkok at sunset. Streets looked too impenetrable and foreign to tackle straight away, so, dinner at Trang Hotel – the old staple tom kah gai, green mango salad and something else (they fade so quickly these memories, and we were slow with the writing down…), and heart-shaped rice, with jugs of Chang beer. Very nice start.
Rock hard bed.

I’d go for it all except the rock hard bed.
Ya for Beer. Nice to hear from youse.
That’s nice. Different. Unusual.
Very envious, I could even handle the rock hard bed just to experience something new.
